Katy Perry busts out on 'SNL', mocks 'Sesame Street' boobie ban

Buxom pop star Katy Perry made fun of the banned "Sesame Street" video on "Saturday Night Live" by appearing in a sketch all about her breasts. The "Street" video (where she's wearing a bright satin dress and running after Elmo) she shot for the childrens show was deemed not suitable for preschoolers by outraged parents. Seriously.

On "SNL," Katy played a 16-year old library volunteer who has been told to wear looser and less-revealing clothing when she does storytime. She discusses the situation on the mock daytime chat show, "Bronx Beat," hosted by Amy Poehler and Maya Rudolph.

The hosts make a big deal of the fact that Katy (aka "Maureen") appears to have developed substantially. And they take particular notice of her Elmo shirt, which has ripped due to her expanded bosoms.

"Look at Elmo's head, it's all stretched out," Poehler adds. Katy responds by giggling and  moving up and down on the couch, making her sweater pups bounce.

Like "SNL," "The Simpsons" has absolutely no problem with Katy's enviable assets. She's set to appear on the episodes that airs on Christmas Day.

But that means her breasts will be even more appealing. They'll be animated.

It ISN'T suitable for preschoolers. Five and 6 year old kids do not need to be exposed to a singer that sings about making out with other girls, waking up with hangovers in Vegas, and wanting to see guys' "peacocks" while exposing her ****. Aren't kids being exposed to sex and becoming pregnant early enough as it is? Do we really need to expose preschoolers to this?

Haha! Now that is bright. USA has the worst record of any developed country in terms of teen and/or unwanted pregnancies, and is probably the most prude as well. I suggest you take your pickup truck, go to the nearest international airport, and visit the world a bit. You will soon realize that it is your puritan attitude that is at the base of the problem, and not sex and nudity.

I don't see what the difference was between the video Katy Perry did for 'Sesame Street,' and taking your kids to a public swimming pool. I think there is a line between obscenity and socially accepted skin-baring. I do not think Katy crossed it. Please, stop and think before you jump on the popular opinion bandwagon, folks.
