Jane Fonda talks turkey neck: Plastic surgery, new exercise DVDs

Jane Fonda is no spring chicken. But she looks pretty plucking good at age 72.

She's spoken about the new round of plastic surgery she had done on her eyes, chin and neck earlier this year. She even admitted that she "caved" when asked about it on Larry King's show. But she's not giving up on fitness and exercise as yet another way to stay active, attractive and healthy.

She tells "Entertainment Tonight" why she had the recent surgeries, why she's talking about it and how staying active makes you look and feel younger.

"It was a hard decision to make, and I decided if I'm going to do it, I'm going to tell the truth. I'm writing a book about aging, so I can't write that book and not say I've had plastic surgery. And you know, I just decided it was for me -- I don't want to have bags under my eyes that make me look tired, and so forth and so on."

Fonda struggled with bulimia when she was young. And she admits that she has been excessive about many things in her life.

Now she's learned that moderation is important. And with a knee and hip replacement, she is gentler on her body and has taken up walking, stretching, swimming and works with light weights to maintain muscle mass.

She's  also making exercise DVDs that incorporate her new more moderate techniques. Her two new Jane Fonda Prime Time videos hit the stores soon.

She also admits that having money helps her ongoing quest to stay young and vital. "I have good genes and money. Money helps," she says.

We agree. Plastic surgery is not cheap. Neither are exercise DVDs.
