George Lopez divorces Ann Lopez, the wife who gave him a kidney
Another Hollywood marriage bites the dust. Talk show host George Lopez, 49, and his wife, Ann Lopez, are ending their 17-year marriage. Same old, same old.But this divorce settlement will be unique in that it will undoubtedly be the first case of joint custody of vital organs in Hollywood history. Trust me, you want to read this.
"The decision is amicable and by mutual agreement," a rep's statement released to the press reads. "They remain dedicated parents, and committed partners in business and their philanthropic organization, The Lopez Foundation."
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Ann and George -- the host of the "George Lopez" show -- also have one daughter, Mayan Lopez, age 15. So what went wrong? Who knows.
All we know for sure is that the reason couldn't be that she never gave him anything. George suffered from a genetic condition that caused his kidneys to fail in 2005. Luckily, his devoted Ann gave him one of hers and saved his life.
Does she wish she could have it back? Would you?

i new this was going to happen. his tv show was funny, but things were written for him. his night show is awfull. plus he is a racist pig. he is just like all the rest of them .show business has gone to his head. he owes his life to his wife. maybe its all about those lose women out there. o'well his day is comming.
