'Dancing with the Stars': Michael Bolton wants an apology from Bruno Tonioli
Grammy-winning singer Michael Bolton wants an apology from "Dancing with the Stars" judge Bruno Tonioli for his unnecessarily harsh criticism Monday (Sept 27).
The judge called the singer-songwriter's "Hound Dog" jive routine "the worst jive in 11 seasons."
"I think he should apologize publically and be reprimanded for it," Bolton, 57, said on "Good Morning America."
Bruno lashed out at Bolton's dance with partner Chelsie Hightower in which they used a dog house as a prop. He scolded him like a dog, saying, "I am a dog lover, but you make it so hard for me. You should have taken your bone and gone back to the dog house. You did it all very, very, very badly."
What no hitting on the nose with a newspaper?
Bolton said he was "disappointed" by the judge's harsh words. "My mom was there, she flew in. She's 90 and I thought she was going to really enjoy it, and I just didn't expect that level of disrespect from him."

I think Bruno was COMPLETELY out of line! So it wasn't the best dance ever, but come on.....I watched Jerry Springer and Buzz Aldrin in past seasons do awful and he never gave 3's to them. He should apologize for being so rude.

The first few weeks on this show are 'weed-out' weeks...separating the stars who have no way of winning the mirror ball trophy. Michael is an awesome singer and highly successful in the world of music. Bruno was rude and out of line...he could have found SOMETHING nice to say after Michael's performance...remember the 'Golden Rule'! Bruno needs to follow in Carrie Ann's footsteps and try to find something nice to say about a performance...even when it was aweful. Bruno was just showing off.
Ok we all watched the same show, Bolton was awful. I think Bruno's comments were right on! Stick to singing and stop being such a baby!

Oh, Michael. You crawled out of a dog house! On all fours! With a freaking bone in your mouth! What were you expecting? Three 10's? Just be gracious. Say you had a great time even if you did have two left feet. The judges say what they do because they are trying to elicit a reaction.
he should get over himself- he was a marginal singer who relied on his looks to woo the female audience- now his looks are gone,
his career is stalled and he can't dance. Get over it !!!
that jive was the dumbest thing i've ever seen. whatever small shred of dignity Bolton had left is officially gone. Bruno was right to put down that she-male.
Grow up, Michael. Your ego got bruised and you were embarrassed. It happens.
It was such a downer for viewers who think of someday getting out on the dance floor to hear such
a harange from Bruno. DWTS has lost a lot of points as has Robin and George for not having Michael come on GMA. Michael Bolton was trying--nobody deserves to be insulted. What kind of example does that set for our children?
