Chris Hansen not arrested for child molestation. Catch a Predator elsewhere

Everyone simmer down. Chris Hansen (pictured left), the host of NBC "Dateline's" gotcha television specials "To Catch A Predator" has not -- we repeat, has NOT -- been arrested for child molestation.

Rather, a 28-year-old man with the same last name as Hansen -- James William Hansen (pictured right) -- was arrested Wednesday (Sept. 1) on two counts of sexual abuse in the second-degree, two counts of lascivious acts with a child and one count of assault with intent to commit sexual abuse, stemming from an early August incident involving three underage males in a Cedar Rapids, Iowa park.

Furthermore, Chris Hansen and James William Hansen are not related either.

Carry on. Someone will get arrested for something ironic soon enough.
