'Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam's' Demi Lovato warns against bullying

Say it ain't so.In Friday (Sept. 3) night's Disney Channel movie, "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam," Demi Lovato's character, Mitchie, lets out her inner Mean Girl, gets a little nasty and starts telling people what to do.
This, Lovato says, can by the first step towards a bigger problem -- bullying -- and she wants to get the word out to help stop it.
"We have kids killing themselves over bullies," Lovato tells Zap2it. "I know what it was like to be bullied, and to be that low."
Lovato, 18, left regular school in favor of homeschooling in order to get away from those who bullied her in seventh grade, but has some other coping advice for those who don't have that option.
"I had the outlet of music and acting. Put your energy into something positive."
