Bruno Mars busted for drug possession in Vegas

What happens in Vegas doesn't stay in Vegas when it comes to Bruno Mars.

The "Billionaire" and "Just the Way You Are" singer was arrested Sunday morning (Sept. 19) on suspicion of narcotics possession at the Hard Rock Casino, reports the Las Vegas Journal-Review.

The 23-year-old singer, born Peter Gene Hernandez, was allegedly discovered with unspecified narcotics in one of the hotel bathrooms.

Mars recently appeared on the MTV Video Music Awards to perform "Nothing on You" with B.o.B. He was performing at the Hard Rock on Saturday and invited his fans to come out and see him via Twitter.

A Monday morning (Sept. 20) tweet doesn't mention anything about his arrest. He writes, "Texas is dope! Im in dallas rite now looking foward to meeting some folks @ the radio stations. tune in for a special live performance."
