Brandon Spikes' sex tape: NFL investigating when it was shot

The NFL is looking into New England Patriots rookie Brandon Spikes' sex tape. They are very curious about precisely when the video of Brandon receiving oral sex was shot and who released it on the web.

 According to ESPN.com, the league's personal conduct policy states that everyone associated with the league must avoid "conduct detrimental to the integrity of and public confidence in the National Football League."

The explicit video shows a man who looks like Spikes lying in bed with a woman and getting oral sex. Deadspin, Gawker media's sports blog, was offered the sex tape for $1,500 but declined. The video was later released on WorldStarHipHop.com.

Spikes' agent, Terry Watson, says his client is really embarrassed about the video, adding, "It certainly doesn't reflect the kind of person that he is."

Watson explained that the video was shot when Spikes was in college. So does that mean that mean the NFL can't get upset about it because it was shot before he joined the NFL?
 
Perhaps we should introduce Brandon Spikes to Montana Fishburne. They have so much in common.
