Brandon Jacobs tosses helmet; Colts fan won't let it go
Giants fans may have been upset with their team's 38-14 loss to the Colts on Sunday (Sept. 19) but apparently not as upset as Brandon Jacobs.
The New York running back claims that he had tried to toss his helmet towards the Colts' bench, but it got caught on his leather gloves and made a detour 10 rows up to the stands.
"I was frustrated and went to throw it down on the ground, and it got caught on my finger and went into (the stands)," he says. "I apologize for that. It was frustration on my part."
It's pretty funny to watch the Colts fan not wanting to part with the helmet. That definitely would have made for a unique souvenir.
So, do you believe Jacobs' story?

Jacobs should be fined, maybe suspended for a game. The helmet could have hit a child (or anyone) in the head and done some damage.
Yea there's definitely a large fine in store for Mr. Jacobs. It was quite amusing to see the guy hold onto the helmet like he's a kid with a teddy bear though.
