2010 VMAs: Lady Gaga sports Alexander McQueen, service men and women

lady-gaga-vmas.jpgLady Gaga was sporting two statements on the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards red carpet -- one fashion, one political. Her unusual ball gown was from the final collection of fashion designer Alexander McQueen, who committed suicide in February.

Gaga also had with her four service men and women who were discharged from the Army, Air Force or West Point due to their being homosexuals. We wonder if Gaga would have had them regardless or if it was for the Sept. 11 anniversary weekend in particular.

What do you think? Do you like her dress? It's definitely one of her tamer outfits. And how do you feel about her red carpet political statement?

she makes me sick

I appreciate her boldness to make such a statement (where the public eye will be well trained on her) and take advantage of the free publicity to advocate for those who may feel like they have no place. Rip Alexander McQueen, and keep rah-rah-ing and ooh-la-la-ing Lady Gaga :)
