2010 MTV VMAs host Chelsea Handler: Did she make you Gaga?
Chelsea Handler, the host of E!'s late night talk show, "Chelsea Lately," and MTV Video Music Awards' first solo female host since 1994 definitely kept her dirty record intact.
Handler encouraged the stars to turn this mother out and she started with quite a bang. Several people slapped her on her fanny as she walked through a backstage hallway and then she came face to face with her nemesis and frequent object of her jokes, Lindsay Lohan. And while the confrontation seemed pretty friendly, Lohan got a little fanny slap in, too.
"Don't embarrass me out there," Lohan yelled as Handler ran off.
Then, Handler entered the stage from the ceiling, invoking some major Lady Gaga. She was dressed in the craziest dress and a full on house over her head. She opened the garage and there was her face! Hi neighbor!
Of course, she has a potential incident on her hands if someone wants to pull a Kanye West this year (possibly West, himself, when he hears the song Taylor Swift wrote about him, which she's performing tonight).

is it me or did no one laugh at her rude jokes? i think she went a little too far some times and pissed off a couple people ahahah....
Flat execution of off-color jokes. Wrong audience for her act. Not a pretty thing to watch.

I am shocked, Chelsea ia awful. He skits look unrehearsed. Even the garage door remote didn't work. How fitting. Her jokes are rude and show little class. Very trashy, trying to get laughs from cud jokes rather than clever jokes. Who the hell wrote her material? Won't see her hosting again anytime soon!!
Chelsea Handler is so funny on her show. Love her there. When you decide to direct lumps in a sewer you are going to get **** all over you and she did. The people that produce the VMAs should be marched down to Viacom Headquarters tomorrow and all fired. This show and their network are a terrible representation of the humanity that music brings to our lives. Here's a toast to them being out of work and unhireable.
Worst VMA's in a a few years. Chelsea is my Queen, but she faultered a bit. As Paco said, there were some flat delivery problems of jokes. Otherwise, Chelsea was the best part of the show. The performances were all terrible except for Florence and the Machine. Especially Linkin Park and Taylor Swift. What a suck fest. Lady Gaga and Eminem won everything which wasn't a surprise which made the evening very boring and uneventful. The only award I got stoked about was 30 Seconds To Mars taking best rock video. They are awesome and deserve it.
