'True Blood' Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer tie the knot

"True Blood's" lead vampire and human have taken the blood test and made it official.

"Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin were married on Saturday (Aug. 21) in Malibu surrounded by their family and friends," a rep confirms to Zap2it. The story was first reported by Us.

The nuptials come as a bit of a surprise to us since Moyer told Zap2it in a June interview that they hadn't even started planning the wedding since "We've got ages. We've got a  lifetime."

Well, either life spans have shortened (perish the thought), Moyer was lying or perhaps everything was thrown together at the last minute.

"True Blood" co-star Carrie Preston, her husband Michael Emerson of "Lost" and Elijah Wood attended the ceremony that took place in a tent across the street from the beach.
