'True Blood' stars get bloody naked for Rolling Stone cover
[Full cover image after the jump]When we saw the Rolling Stone cover featuring "True Blood's" Alexander Skarsgard, Anna Paquin and her real life fiancé, Stephen Moyer, all we could say was wow.
On the issue, which hits stands on Friday (August 20), we find the stars naked, splattered in blood with the three locked into each other while Anna gives up something for each hunk. Skarsgard looks like a leg man and Moyer? He likes the breast. Hot.
But, then we found out what was inside: An article on "The Joy of Vampire Sex," which talks about the inherently sexual nature of vampires.
"To me, vampires are sex," "True Blood's" creator, Alan Ball, says. "I don't get a vampire story about abstinence. I'm 53. I don't care about high school students. I find them irritating and uninformed."
Ball defends "True Blood's" pan-sexually charged nature and says that for his vampires, anything goes. In the article, Moyer (who plays the mysterious Bill) took a more analytical approach to the sexuality of vampires.
"If we go from a base level, vampires create a hole in the neck where there wasn't one before," Moyer explains. "It's a de-virginization -- breaking the hymen, creating blood and then drinking the virginal blood. And there's something sharp, the fang, which is probing and penetrating and moving into it. So that's pretty sexy. I think that makes vampires attractive."
He the throws in, "Plus, Robert Pattinson is just hot, right?"

Wowza! That's racy! Can't wait till all the self-important conservative and parent groups start slamming it as inappropriate and vulgar. Free publicity. I still haven't seen this show but I really want to. I've heard nothing but good things about it.
