'Top Model's' Whitney Thompson gets naked, defends Tyra Banks

"America's Next Top Model" Cycle 10 plus-size winner Whitney Thompson bares all her pluses to promote the upcoming Love Your Body Day.

In case you want to mark your calendar, the Body Day is officially on Oct. 23, 2010. Yup, coming up fast. But this is one day you don't have to work out to get in shape for. Unless you want to. Just to be healthy. But you don't have to. 

As the celebrity host of the Hollywood Chapter of the National Organization for Women's 5th annual Hollywood Love Your Body Day, Whitney posed naked with the event's equally naked creator Chenese Lewis to help spread the "all bodies are beautiful" news.

But while Whitney promotes body equality, she has also come to rescue by addressing the controversial video in which Tyra gives a thumbs up to a "Top Model" Cycle 15 contestant Ann's frighteningly itty-bitty waist, so small that judge J Alexander could wrap his hands around it.

Thompson explains on StyleList, "Tyra supports women of all sizes as long as they are healthy. I do not fault her for her reaction to seeing such a tiny waist. She had a similar reaction to seeing [contestant] Toccara [Jones'] enormous breasts. Tyra remains a leading figure in the fight for body equality in the fashion industry."

Thompson also serves as an ambassador for the National Eating Disorder Association (NEDA) and Lewis acts as an ambassador for the Binge Eating Disorder Association (BEDA)
