Tila Tequila attacked at Illinois concert

Tila Tequila was reportedly attacked at a music festival in Illinois over the weekend, leaving her face bloodied and her body bruised.

She was scheduled to perform at the Gathering of the Juggalos, a four-day event put on by Psychopathic Records, the label for headliners Insane Clown Posse. (Juggalos, in case you're wondering, is a term for fans of ICP and other Psychopathic artists.) But according to TMZ -- which also has some rather unpleasant photos of Tila's injuries -- she had barely taken the stage when people in the audience started throwing things at her.

"I went onstage and immediately, before I even got on stage, DUDES were throwing HUGE STONE ROCKS in my face, beer bottles that slit my eye open, almost burnt my hair on fire cuz they threw firecrackers on stage, and they even took the s*** out of the port-0-potty and threw s*** and piss at me when I was onstage," Tila says in an e-mail to TMZ. "These people were trying to kill me." There's been no word from the show's organizers so far. The sheriff in Hardin County, Ill., where the festival was held, confirms to the AP that Tila filed a complaint about the incident, which took place early Saturday (Aug. 14). No other details were available.

We're left wondering why, exactly, someone thought it was a good idea to invite Tila Tequila to a festival whose focus is on hard-core rap acts like ICP (other performers included Kottonmouth Kings, Method Man & Redman, Twiztid and Tech N9ne). That just sounds like a bad mix to us.
