'The View's' Whoopi Goldberg denies hitting D.C. Housewives' Michaele Salahi
Uh oh, Michaele Salahi may be barking up the wrong tree once again. "The Real Housewives of D.C." cast member and alleged White House gatecrasher says Whoopi Goldberg assaulted her when she and her cast mates appeared on "The View" Wednesday (August 4).
The D.C. housewife claims that during their appearance, Goldberg hit her to get her attention. Show reps are denying the accusation and issued the following statement:
ABC says Goldberg will be addressing the Salahis' accusations during Thursday's (August 5) broadcast of "The View.""At one point during Michaele Salahi's appearance on 'The View' on Wednesday, Whoopi lightly touched Ms. Salahi to get her attention and said to her 'Excuse me, can you get back to the White House, please?', meaning could Ms. Salahi return to the original subject of the conversation. After the show, Ms. Salahi and her husband accused Whoopi of hitting Ms. Salahi. As the broadcast clearly shows, the accusation was completely unfounded and erroneous. After the show and after being told she was being accused of hitting Ms. Salahi, Whoopi proceeded to defend herself verbally from this baseless claim in a heated exchange with the Salahis."

Saw the show as well, I dont care for the "Real Housewives", but the hosts of "The View" should have acted like hosts, instead of gossip mongers on attack mode
usually I think Whoopi is kinda rude..she wasent really, but I wish she had been! That B**ch Salahi is ignorant! I laughed when her grammer showed her ignorance and the other DC women sorta rolled their eyes & smiled! twice she said "she was CASTED 1st".what??? can you spell stupid? and I totally agree w/Sherrie, if you did crash, you ignorant heehaws, then you should have been sent to jail. end of story. and by the way, your husband is fug ugly!

i wish Goldie had decked her square on in the face. the Salahi's are nothing but low-class losers who should live in obscurity, NOT ON OUR TV's. needless to say, i won't be watching this newest Housewives show. at this point, i'm only bothering with the OC ladies.

I was watching it and the woman even said on air "oh I felt someone touching me" and Sherri said, yeah that was whoopie. The woman kept avoiding just out and out saying whether or not she had crashed the white house, she started plugging an upcoming book where she said it would all be explained and I think the gals and producers were getting annoyed with her and I imagine the producers were talking into Joy and Sherri's ears saying "get back to the whitehouse" but they couldn't get a word in so whoopie just stepped out. If these people are so innocent why couldn't they just come out and say no they didn't crash but she wouldn't answer directly.
Whoopie has an Oscar, Golden Globe, Tony, Emmy and a Grammy. Michaele has. . . .?
Whoopie, I love you very much, I really do, but you got to be careful. Yes, you can be annoying at times, but you are still a wonderful person. That *****, Michaele, whatever the hell her name is, can kiss the world's a@@. But you got be ready when you dish out the dirt and be all up in everybody's business, you know you have to be prepared to have to explain yourself the next day, which can be embarrassing to you, your co-hosts, and the View. But do not feel bad, your co-hosts, too, have stuck their foot in the mouths a number of times, also.
Michaele Salahi 2 seconds of fame [she doesn't get 15 minutes] is up. Toss her. She crashed the White House. How did she survive not heading to prison? After all, she technically threatened the President's life with her boringness.
I'm sure some LA lawyer is checking to see if Whoopi can sue Michaele Salahi for slander or at least a moron.
Also shows that people who are in reality shows are not stars but just attention seakers. [Once reason why I don't watch that crap.]
