'The Rachel Zoe Project': Rachel Zoe on Rodger, 'This season, he's not so silent'

After watching the Season 3 premiere of "The Rachel Zoe Project," you may be struck by just how much more forceful Rachel Zoe's husband, Rodger Berman, comes off compared to previous seasons.
"I think this season you'll get to see it more," Zoe tells Zap2it on a recent press call. "I would say a lot more actually. But, it's really good. He's very strong. You know he's kind of like that silent strong, but this season he's not so silent."
We saw the first hints of it last season when he assumed more control over Rachel Zoe, Inc. In the premiere, though, and especially in the storyline involving Taylor Jacobson's departure from the company, Berman takes a very forceful lead.
"Rodger and I have been together for 18 years," Zoe says. "Rodger sort of sometimes stays on the sidelines and those people who are really close to him are the only people who really know what he's made of."
This season, though, Zoe assures us that we'll get a glimpse of what makes her husband. "I think it's one of those things when he speaks when necessary," she says. "And what he says kind of means a lot."
Watch Rodger in action below:
Season 3 of "The Rachel Zoe Project" premieres Tuesday, August 3 at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo.

The most annoying ***** ever! "lichralee" learn how to speak you old hag. and you know what? This woman keeps saying "i die" hmm why dont ya then?! please do us the favor!
She is annoying and ugly ...
Rodger - kudos to you for stepping up and taking charge of "The Rachel Zoe Project"; I know that you normally took care of the financial end of things; and, you evidently were working with your "own company", but when your wife became ill from the pressures of what L.A. and everyone expects from her, you came through.
As far as Taylor, I just don't know what took you guys so long to get rid of her. She did nothing to help the Rachel Zoe Project prosper whatsoever. On the otherhand, Rachel my sweetie ( I can say this because I'm a mom of 5 and only 47 ); you need to drink only "DECAFFINATED"; and you need to always being munching on almonds, peanut bars and fruit smoothies - if you plan on being the "Rachel Zoe" that we all look forward to watching. And, Brad is the ultimate assistant; I truly feel he has the utmost respect for you and Rodger, and the company. I think that he thrives on photo-shoots and just remember - he is "gay", so be aware of his emotional well being; he's extra sensative, but I really feel that he can do the job required of him. And, he probably needs alot of "good job Brad"; and hugging for a good job, and even perhaps bonuses, like sending him to a great resort for a few days to let him know how much he's appreciated. That being said, I hope you gave him a tremendous raise because he deserves it. He's always joyful, happy and eager to help and eager to make everything good; and, I think this is just Brad's nature and personality; embrace it; love it; and encourage it. If I only lived closer to LA and was about 20 years younger, I would totally absolutely love and enjoy being part of your team. And, Rachel, try to be more upbeat; positive; happy; you have everything that alot of women want - I think that alot of younger models looking to get in the business, would want you to be more "upbeat", happy, positive, joyful; after all, you are a mentor to many young people and if you're always more positive and not complaining, it would make your show even more awesome; perhaps take the cameras out of your bedroom and your personal residence so that you and Rodger can actually have private conversations.
Also, Rodger, if you want kids, you should truly think about adopting one of the millions of children that need a loving home because Rachel (bless her sole) will not, and cannot take time to have a baby; SHE IS A CAREER WOMAN. But, for the sake of God - please adopt of child from the USA!!!!, I think I've rambled enough, I wish I could be part of your team because I actually love dressing people and just being creative even though I've never worked in that industry but would love to be in charge of window displays because I can actually visualize awesome and creative displays, and my back ground is in legal - go figure. I can just hope and pray that my daughter of 11 years will pursue her creative side and not follow her mama.
Take Care - and be joyful,

....Did nothing to help? Taylor might have been a *****, she might not have been the easiest person to work with, but you CANNOT say she "did nothing to help." Who opted to stay behind from Paris to deal with clients and jobs, while Rachel and Brad frolicked overseas? Taylor did a sh*tload of work while she was with Rachel. Her work ethic was amazing, and like her or not, you have to admit at least that much. "Did nothing to help." Pssshhh.
When will anyone admit Rogers wig is horrible?
I agree!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
