Teen Choice: Robert Pattinson glad to win for 'something other than 'Twilight'
Maybe you missed the Teen Choice Awards on Monday (Aug 9). Or maybe you just DVRed the show and were only planning on watching it to see "Twilight Saga" star Robert Pattinson.
Well, we have the best part of the show for RPatz fans; the part where Rob wins the Choice Best Actor in a Drama award for his role in "Remember Me."
He accepts his award from his "bothered" pal Jimmy Fallon and admits that "It's great to win for something other than 'Twilight.'"
But wait, there's more. When the lesser known cast members (except for Taylor Lautner) of the "Twilight" cast get onstage, Ashley Greene pulls Rob over to the mic to speak to the screaming fans. He tries in vain to get everyone to say "Thank You" in unison, then he gets all flustered and just says it himself.
Hey, we'll take any Rob bits we can get. It's gonna be a long time until "Breaking Dawn" opens on Nov. 18.
