Taylor Swift and Kristen Stewart get comic book treatment

Justin Bieber, Barbara Walters, the cast of "Glee" and now Taylor Swift and Kristen Stewart: these are just some of the pop culture icons deemed worthy of one of Bluewater Productions' "Fame" comic books.

But what kind of adventures can we expect?

As as always the case in the "Fame" series, not new ones. The 32-page biographical issues each follow the celebrities' rise to stardom. And unless Bluewater has upped their research game, don't expect any surprising reveals about radioactive spider bites.

The Swift book follows the young singer as she shops her demo tape around Nashville. And Stewart's will focuses on the evolution of her already lengthy career. Hopefully it will open up the possibility for a crossover issue with Robert Pattinson's comic -- already in its second printing.

Both Taylor Swift and Kristen Stewart copies of "Fame" hit stores August 25.

Wow. What a waste of a comic book(s). Wouldn't a reg'lar old magazine be a better forum for this? Why bother with all the art when you could just slap some photos down?
