Steven Slater quits his job, heads to Barry Manilow concert

Zap2it has discovered that Slater -- who became an overnight celebrity when he grabbed a brewskie and popped the emergency slide to dramatically quit his Jet Blue job last week, is already hanging out with another celebs and getting the star treatment.

He was spotted hanging with Manilow at his show with the New York Pops at Caesars Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, on Saturday (Aug 14).

And that's not all.

Jet Blue's escape artist already has a reality TV show offer on the table, TMZ reports. And it sounds like a show that could really strike a chord with disgruntled workers. It will feature Slater advising people on quitting  a job in memorable ways, thus making absolutely sure they will never get a job recommendation for another position anywhere on the planet. Wahoo!

The only problem with the reality show idea is that it will be pret-ty hard to top Slater's grand exit. Or the possible Jet Blue lawsuit he may face for recklessly putting the plane and all the passengers in jeopardy.
