Riley Keough may star in 4th 'Mad Max,' 'Fury Road'
Riley Keough, best known as Elvis Presley's granddaughter, is reportedly in talks for a role in the 4th installment of the "Mad Max" movies, "Fury Road."According to the New York Daily News, the movie will be written/directed by George Miller.
The good news is that Mad Max, originally played by Mel Gibson, will not be played by Mel Gibson.
Instead, it will be played by our new favorite young outspoken actor, Tom Hardy ("Inception").
Riley -- who is the daughter of Lisa Marie Presley and Danny Keough -- will play one of the "Five Wives" -- along with Zoe Kravitz, Teresa Palmer (remember her from "The Sorcerer's Apprentice") and Adelaide Clemen -- whom Mad Max must protect. Charlize Theron is also in the cast. We're liking this movie already!
Keough started modeling at age 14 and was a spokesmodel for Dior. She starred in "The Runaways," about the 1970s all-girl rock band, cast as Cherie Currie's sister Marie. Kristen Stewart played Joan Jett and Dakota Fanning played Cherie.
Keough has also wrapped "The Good Doctor" with Orlando Bloom and appears in "Jack and Diane," an indie movie about werewolves starring Kylie Minogue.
And just because you've read this far -- and because it kinda ties in with the werewolf mention above, here's a treat to get you ready for two of the Five Wives: Zoe and Riley introducing the band Vampire Weekend in 2008. Random, right?
