Ricky Martin to release aptly titled memoir, 'Me'

Ricky Martin is set to unleash his memoir, "Me," on November 2, in English and Spanish.
A release from publisher Celebra points out that book will include new perspectives on Martin's Menudo years, the troubles with fame and his connection with fans. Oh, and the whole gay thing will probably get thrown in there too.
Turns out the book was actually one of Martin's major motivators for coming out to begin with. Ricky Martin is set to unleash his memoir, "Me," on November 2, in English and Spanish.
A release from publisher Celebra points out that book will include new perspectives on Martin's Menudo years, the troubles with fame and his connection with fans. Oh, and the whole gay thing will probably get thrown in there too.
He weighs in on the matter in the release: "Writing this book allowed me to explore the different paths and experiences that have led me to be who I am today," he says. "I've had to tie up loose ends that I'd never attempted to tie up before, to work deeply into memories that were already erased from my mind."
He says those memories gave him spiritual heeling and self-discovery. He's probably hoping they'll also earn him a few extra dollars too.

Just because he's not big in the US anymore doesn't mean he's not in other countries. He is. I don't know why people have to be so nasty.
