'Real Housewives of NJ' go 'Big, Gay, Italian' in off-Broadway play
"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" are going to be breaking a leg (no, not Danielle Staub's) -- they'll be appearing in the off-Broadway production of "My Big, Gay, Italian Wedding" in New York City.
Produced by former housewife, Dina Manzo, Teresa Giudice, Ashley Holmes, Jacqueline Laurita, Caroline Manzo and Lauren Manzo will perform in four performances only from September 1 - 4.
"Everyone has a so much fun at this show," Dina says. "Audiences laugh out loud, it's got an important message for everyone and the money raised from the ticket sales for these four performances will benefit such a terrific cause. So when I asked the ladies to be a part of it, they were thrilled to come on board. This is one wedding party you are not going to want to miss!"
The women will be hosting a party on their debut night, as well, with limited tickets available to the performance and party. Part of the proceeds from the housewives' four day stint and party admission will benefit Marriage Equality New York, an organization dedicated to raising awareness and fighting for gay marriage equality.
