Is "The Real Housewives of New Jersey's" Teresa Giudice's bankruptcy lawyer working with her publicist (or does she even have one)?
It would seem he isn't from the statements he made "defending" her $60,000 shopping spree for house wares and furnishing just days after filing for bankruptcy back in October of last year.
Let's take a look at the statements her attorney, Larry Kridel, made to People:
On where Teresa got the money: "That was the money she earned as an advance for her book 'Skinny Italian,' Since she earned it after the filing, she was absolutely free to spend it."
Zap2it: So, the same advance the court-appointed trustee says went unreported on her bankruptcy filing? Why didn't she use it to pay creditors?
On why Teresa had to spend the money fast: "If she put it in the bank, they'd say, 'Why don't you pay your creditors,' and the trustee might freeze the assets while he investigates whether she can spend it or not."
Zap2it: Oh, OK. She just didn't want the money to go to her creditors.
On what's more important than paying off her debt: "She needed to re-buy furniture because she didn't have any furniture in the house. It's a big house and she wanted furniture consistent with her style on the show. There is nothing wrong with doing that, except that it doesn't look good for her to be doing it."
Zap2it: Ah, the "big house" defense. And we finally agree. It doesn't look good for her to be going on an expensive shopping spree days after you've asked to be bailed out of millions of dollars in debt. Is it legal? That's for the court to decide. Does it reveal something sketchy about Teresa's character? In our opinion, yes.

She is as stupid as they come. I don't know how many hints her husband threw at her about her spending but she continued to spend millions of dollars on crap. My God, the rest of the world was in a recession and this idiot is still spending money like it's freaking water. By the way, it is against the law for her to file for bankruptcy if they're not bankrupt. I don't know who I can't tolerate more, her or that dogface, Danielle.

Teresa is a fraud who consistently lies on (& probably off) camera, can barely communicate an educated sentence and feels the need to speak trash about others when she's a low class bimbo herself. On the show she's consumed by her wants so it is no wonder her daughters are becoming spoiled brats! She definitely does NOT act like a dignified lady. If anyone gives "Jersey girls" a bad name it is this over-the-top Italian.
please don't call her "Italian" that is an insult to Italy and Italians everywhere. She is AMERICAN--born in America and doesn't even speak Italian. She is simply New Jersey trash.

Teresa Judice is the biggest, dumbest excuse for a "housewife". She can't connect two thoughts let alone speak properly. Her husband and her are nothing but SLUMLORDS! What a joke this woman is. She cannot parent at all. I can't stand to watch her and her children are spoiled BRATS! KICK HER OFF THE SHOW!!!!!! How can they afford to buy her all her "wants" , go to Italy yet NOT pay their creditors. That tells me everything right there. Selfish, materialistic and just plain wrong. YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW!

I read that the contractor who supplied all the stone for her marble monstrosity of a house has to borrow in order to pay his own mortage while they owe him over $100,000.
I hope she and her husband are prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Personally, I think she's the most criminal and mentally unstable housewife, not Danielle.

I've heard her speak Italian on the show...knowing a few "key" phrases in a language doesn't make you fluent.
I THINK TERESA AND HER HUSBAND THINK THEY DODGED ALL AND SCREWED EVERYONE OUT OF THE MONEY SHE RACKED UP IN DEBTS FOR HER OUTRAGEOUS HABITS. ITS UNFAIR SHE GET AWAY WITH THIS FRAUD. SHE CLAIMS SHE WAS IN DEBT AND IS STILL SPENDING LIKE A SPOILED *****. SHE OBVIOUSLY THINKS SHE SCREWED EVERYONE AND IS NOW FREE TO START ALL OVER AGAIN.
ALL THE PEOPLE THAT TRUSTED THEM BOTH ARE NOW SCREWED OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS AND SHE IS EVADING MONEY TO THE BANKRUPCY COURT/ THATS ILLEGAL. CAN SHE GET AWAY WITH IT, HOPEFULLY NOT. WE WILL SEE.
