The fall of 2010 for Neil Patrick Harris is going to be legen ... wait for it ... daddy.That's right: daddy. The "How I Met Your Mother" star and multiple Emmy nominee revealed Saturday (Aug. 14) that he and partner David Burtka are expectant fathers. Of twins, no less.
"So, get this: David and I are expecting twins this fall," Harris says via Twitter. "We're super excited/nervous/thrilled. Hoping the press can respect our privacy..."
Harris and Burtka are due to become dads in October through a surrogate, according to E! Online. Burtka, a chef and actor -- he's played Lily's (Alyson Hannigan) desperate high school boyfriend Scooter in several "HIMYM" episodes -- and Harris have been together for six years.
Congrats to the dads-to-be!
