Nancy Dolman, wife of actor Martin Short, dies at 58
Nancy Dolman, wife of actor Martin Short, has died suddenly at the age of 58, reports Radaronline.Dolman passed away Saturday, Aug. 21 at the couple's home outside Los Angeles. The LA Fire Department responded to an emergency call at their home early Saturday morning. The LAFD was there roughly 30 minutes but did not take anyone to the hospital, so it is believe Dolman passed away at the house, according to Radar. Dolman was diagnosed with cancer in 2007, but there is no word as to whether that is the cause of her death.
Dolman and Short met in 1972 on a production of "Godspell" and married in 1980. She leaves behind three children with Short -- Katherine, 27, Oliver, 24 and Henry, 20. Dolman is best known for her stint on the popular '80s comedy "Soap." Short is currently nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for next Sunday's (Aug. 29) Primetime Emmys for his work on "Damages."

May the good Lord keep her and the family. Know she is in Heaven and is ok.
So sad! He always talked about her on talk shows and obviously loved her very much.
How is it that we NEVER hear about celebrity marriages like this one - that last 27 years. All we hear about are the ones that last 27 months. My prayers are with him and his kids.

My heart actually sagged when I heard this news as Short has always spoken so glowingly about his wife. It makes me sad for him, kids and the rest of the family.
Their marriage lasted 30 years. It's good to see that it in Hollywood. so sad for Martin and the kids. God bless!
