Megan Fox's 'Love The Way You Lie' video paycheck donated to women's shelter

Tonight (August 5) at 9 p.m., Eminem and Rihanna's highly anticipated "Love the Way You Lie" video will debut on MTV, featuring appearances by Megan Fox and "Lost's" Dominic Monaghan. The song, which is about domestic abuse, has obvious personal connection to Rihanna's life after Chris Brown's highly publicized assault.

Fox has taken the message to heart and donated her entire appearance fee to Sojourn House, a shelter for victimized women. According to MTV, the organization "provides battered women and their children a safe space to regroup, rebuild, and reestablish their self-esteem and lives."


In a press release, Eminem says, "Trying to make this tough subject work visually is a challenge. It was great to have Rihanna, Megan and Dominic on board for this. They really brought it and made this video super-powerful."

On her part, Rihanna didn't hesitate to do the song despite the symmetry. "Eminem is an artist of class and I knew if he sent me a record there must be something to it," she says. "It couldn't just be, 'Oh, duh! She was in that relationship, so we have to get her.' "
