Maura Tierney's post-chemo pixie hairdo is a keeper
It's been a year since Emmy nominated "ER" vet Maura Tierney dropped out of "Parenthood" to undergo treatment for breast cancer. And she premiered her new post-chemo hairdo at ABC's recent TCA press party. Of her newly regrowing hair, she tells Life & Style. "I'm glad it's there. It's a lot quicker to dry, and it's on my head."
Now she's back on TV as a prosecutor in ABC's new fall legal drama "The Whole Truth."
"It's a blanket statement that my perspective has changed," Maura, 45, explained. "It's a priority for me now to be able to work with people I really like and trust."
"I really responded to the character that Tom (Donaghy) wrote, I guess because [he] wrote it for me ... My ego's not involved there at all," Tierney admitted about why she took this role. Donaghy is the show's exec producer and he and Maura have been friends since college.
We're so glad you're OK and back to work, Maura. Congrats. And your post-chemo do is super cute. Maybe you should keep it short because it really suits you!

I know there's a reason she had her hair short, but it's just not attractive on her. It accentuates her ears. Longer would be better. Hope she's feeling well though!
Still sexy...
