Leonardo DiCaprio's week in court -- restraining order, wine glass slashing
Livia Bistriceanu has been ordered by the Los Angeles Superior Court to stay at least 100 yards away from Leonardo DiCaprio, after writing him numerous letters where she calls herself his wife and says she is carrying his child -- called Jesus, reports Reuters.DiCaprio said this week that he was frightened of the woman and feared for his safety. This is not the first time this week that DiCaprio has been involved in a court case. Earlier this week a woman was ordered to stand trial for striking DiCaprio with a wine glass at a Hollywood party in 2005, where she sliced his face and neck. He required several stitches after the encounter.
If convicted, the 40 year-old Aretha Wilson, who was extradited from Canada to face these charges, could face up to seven years in prison. DiCaprio was not actually present in court for either of these incidents.
Yikes. It's a dangerous world out there for a Hollywood heartthrob.
