Katy Perry topless in Rolling Stone, likes to Google herself

t Katy Perry Googles herself and she's not the slightest bit embarrassed to admit it.

"Any artist who says they don't Google their name is a big fat liar," insists the singer, now Russell Brand's fiance, in the new issue of Rolling Stone.

But Kary, who has around 3,062,173 followers on Twitter also has an automatic Google alert set up for her name as well. Big dif between the occasional ego-surfing and setting up an automatic alert for every time your name pops up on the Web.

So that's why, when she was on her laptop, she was one of the first to know that some online gossip sites were reporting that she called Miley Cyrus' new look "Britney Spears all over again" at the MuchMusic Awards in Toronto.

So she tweeted an outraged response: "I never said s*** bout my girl Miley. I love that ho."

"It's a little gross," she admits to RS. "I'm sure no one knew or cared about that line about Miley. When you look at other celebrities' Twitter feeds and see them posting about something they read about themselves on a Google Alert, it's like, 'Uh, maybe you should stop Googling yourself every day, the world does not spin around you.' "
