Joaquin Phoenix's 'I'm Still Here' trailer is arty and confusing

There's been endless speculation about Joaquin Phoenix's biopic "I'm Still Here: The Lost Year of Joaquin Phoenix." It's alleged to be a documentary about the reinvented life of the former Oscar-nominated actor-turned-really-terrible-hip-hop-musician.

Some (probably including David Letterman) believe this so-called journey of discovery to be a giant hoax. Others call it a drug induced descent into madness. Still others compare to a brilliant Andy Kaufmanesque piece of performance art.

Well, watching the teaser trailer that just hit the web definitely won't clear up any questions you have about the Joaquin or the film. In fact, it totally threw us for a loop with it's grainy, arty, Warhol feel.

But then so did all the recent news about two female crew members on the film suing the director, Casey Affleck for sexual harrassment.
