Faith Evans arrested for DUI

Faith Evans has had another run-in with the law.

The R&B singer was arrested late Saturday (Aug. 21) on suspicion of driving under the influence in the Los Angeles area, reports the AP.

According to LAPD officer Cleon Joseph, Evans was busted at a sobriety checkpoint near Marina del Rey.

She was held for a few hours and then released Sunday morning. Her car was impounded.

This isn't Evans' first arrest. In 2004, she and husband Todd Russaw were busted and charged with possession of marijuana and cocaine during a traffic stop in Atlanta. They spent 13 weeks in a drug treatment program.

Evans, 37, is also known as the widow of Notorious B.I.G., born Christopher Wallace." Her tribute song "I'll Be Missing You" won a Grammy.
