Dr. Laura Schlessinger is very sorry for her N-words. All of them
"Dr. Laura is still around?," you ask. Yes no worries, that's what we said at Zap2it too. Talk show host Dr. Laura Schlessinger has posted an apology on her website after a conversation on Tuesday (Aug. 10) with a caller named Jade during which she said in the N-word several times.
"I articulated the N-word all the way out--more than one time," Schlessinger admits. "And that was wrong. I'll say it again--that was wrong."
You see, Schlessinger was only trying to make a philosophical point. It just didn't come out right. Or something. She's not sure what went wrong.
"I ended up, I'm sure, with many of you losing the point I was trying to make, because you were shocked by the fact that I said the word. I, myself, realized I had made a horrible mistake, and was so upset I could not finish the show. I pulled myself off the air at the end of the hour. I had to finish the hour, because 20 minutes of dead air doesn't work. I am very sorry. And it just won't happen again."
On the show, Schlessinger used the N-word several times after a caller asked if the word was offensive. "Black guys say it all the time," said Schlessinger, who never actually directed the word at the caller. But when the woman disagreed with Laura's reasoning, Schlessinger called her out: "Oh, then I guess you don't watch HBO or listen to any black comedians."
You can listen -- if you really want to -- to Laura's show below. But be warned. Major N-words will be uttered. What do you think about Dr. Laura's use of the N-word to not make a point?

The biggest thing that is not right about people like her or Limbaugh or Jennine Garafalo or Al Sharpton is others (society/news/blah) use these fools to label the rest of us. I really think they do these things just to make more money.
The thing is - anybody who EVER uses the word has used it before, so I guess that's what you get for listening to her in the first place.
It's an ugly word, always has been, always will be.
She was way too comfortable with that word.
I used to like Dr. Laura. But she has no class at all.
And how did President Obama get in this conversation? Is she out of her mind?
I've forgotten about her and Howard Stern.
You go Dr. Laura...Your my hero...tell it like it is..the truth...
Always just a little too self-righteous for her own good. People don't want to be talked down to.
i agree, but i think she's usually wa-aaaayyy too self-righteous!!
Can someone please explain what the N word is...I dont get it...
N stands for obama
