Emmy Fashion 2010: Christina Hendricks busts out again!
"Mad Men" hottie Christina Hendricks's translucent porcelain skin is magically illuminated by this pale lavender gown by Zac Posen that also provides impressive support.
And thanks to her um, ample headlights, one barely even notices those strange lavender bird feathers. We can attest -- because we were standing quite close -- that her entire chest rises and falls with every breath, almost like a pneumatically controlled apparatus.
What do you think of her Emmy gown? Certainly a different era than her "Mad Men'" wardrobe. We could see Mae West wearing this number. But is it a little too obvious?

Er, it's a head shot. Can't hardly see the gown, much less judge it.

I've seen Christina Hendricks covered up on The View and her chest doesn't look nearly so massive. What does it say about this dress if she managed to look far more sexy and classy on the cover of a men's magazinewith her ***** on view than in this? If there is one woman who doesn't require any uplift in her dress it is the lovely Ms Hendricks - The dress makes her look like a porn star with her ***** blown up!
Ms Hendricks is a wonderful actress and a class act - it is unnecessary for her to have so much of her beautiful natural assets on display when she manages quite well on the show to still look hot without her chest falling out.
Aside from her chestiness, I thought her dress was absolutely fabulous? Why? Because my son was involved in the design as an intern for Zac!
I'm not sure what you want Christina to do, at an event where most of the ladies are showing large amounts of skin. Wear some high-necked Greek column gown? Sure. If she had a figure like a BOY, that might work. The gown she chose accentuates ALL of her assets--not just the ones YOU seem so fixated on.

Christina Hendricks is beautiful and it's fine if she accentuates her chest (why not?). that said, this dress is atrocious, and doesn't do her justice AT ALL.
I think women like Christina (though that misleadingly suggests that there are more than one or two others "like" her in Hollywood) are going to have obnoxiously vocal detractors either way they go. Because the fact is that she DOES have an exceptionally large chest--and maybe she doesn't look like it on The View (why would anyone ever watch that program, Christina or no?), but she does, and there's only so much one can do with it in events such as these. So if she wears a dress like the one she wore last night -- which is pretty much exactly what all the others wear, she just looks different in it -- people will say she looks trampy and is trying to draw attention to herself or whatever, but if she covers up more than most, they'll say she looks frumpy or matronly or chubby (those things without enough definition given to them can end up just making you look altogether round) or boring.
Which isn't to say that she hasn't worn some bewilderingly garish things. But this one and the one from last year's Golden Globes were gorgeous dresses that I thought were just perfect for her, and I think what people are really criticizing there, and unfairly, is who and what she is, not the dress itself.
