Bradley Cooper, Ryan Reynolds buddy cop flick -- who should play their dads?
In an updated "Lethal Weapon"-type movie, Hollywood hunks Bradley Cooper and Ryan Reynolds are teaming up to star as two friends who are San Francisco cops. Their fathers are former cops forced out of retirement to help their sons solve a big case, according to THR.The untitled action-comedy is written by Sheldon Turner ("Up in the Air") and is being produced by Neal Moritz ("The Bounty Hunter"), Andrew Panay ("Wedding Crashers"), Jonathon Komack Martin ("Van Wilder"), J.C. Spink and Chris Bender of Benderspink ("A History of Violence").
Our big question is -- which actors are going to play their dads? We would like to recommend Tom Selleck as Cooper's father and James Brolin as Reynolds' father. What do you think?

I'm good with those suggestions.
That would be super!
Burt Reynolds...
Selleck and Brolin would be great.
THAT WOULD BE PERFECT!
I'm getting wet just thinking about BC and RR in the same movie. Thank you PTB!
Good casting ideas, Andrea. I love the premise of this movie.
I'm hoping for Tom Selleck and Burt Reynolds. Then they can have a stache-battle on the side.
I vote for Alan Arkin and James Caan, as a nod to 'Freebie and the Bean'
i think it should be the opposite. selleck as reynolds' dad & brolin as cooper's dad. they look alike
