Save Justin Bieber: Vote no for a North Korea tour!

As if de-Biebering the Web (via Shaved Bieber) is not bad enough. Now nefarious anti-Bieber forces are at work in the world (rather on the "interwebs") trying to put American teen pop idol Justin Bieber in harm's way.

Bieb's official tour website My World Tour, was asking fans to vote on where his tour should go next but had no restrictions on the nations that could be voted on. JB's fan poll -- which has now been removed -- provoked users of imageboard website 4Chan to nominate North Korea, with the vote now turning viral, according to BBC News.

But are only Biebettes and real deal Justin fans voting? We think not. How could that be when North Korea is #1 with close to half a million votes.

Now, there is some feeling in political circles (OK, the Zap2it offices) that Justin could be a fantastic emissary, a good will ambassador, if you will, to the secretive Communist country that is rapidly becoming a nuclear power and threatens the safety of the entire world. Think Dr. Evil times 1 million.

But speaking as true Bieber fans, The Dish Rag has to point out that Justin's safety -- even his whole life -- could be in jeopardy. And we're not just saying this because Justin actually (OMG!) linked to our Bieber Fourth of July post yesterday.

Please think carefully before you partake in any vote pertaining to his My World Tour. And we strongly suggest you consider a country without massive earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, political unrest, terrorists, civil wars, etc, etc. Wait, that may leave out the US. Oh, never mind. We've already had our tour. 

Listen, we realize that this criterion also leaves out most countries. And we apologize in advance to those places. But the safety of Bieber is at stake. The mall riot and subsequent arrest following, as well as Bieb's injury during the London concert with Taylor Swift was anxiety attack-inducing enough to his legion of fans. If he were to be hurt or kidnapped... well, we can't even think about what this would do to the U.S., already demoralized by debt, massive unemployment, and a disaster of growing global consequences occurring in our Gulf waters. 

At this point in our national history, Bieber is all we've got. Save him with your vote! There's only one day and a few hours left, do it for humanity's sake.
