Ringo Starr wants 'peace and love' for his 70th birthday

Former Beatle Ringo Starr turns 70 Wednesday (July 7).

And all he wants for his big 7-0 birthday is for all of his fans all around the world to raise a collective peace sign and say the words "peace and love" at noon today.

That's not hard. Let's make Ringo happy, shall we?

"If you're on a bus, if you're on a boat, at noon, where ever you are, just go, 'Peace and love, peace and love,'" Starr says in the video above. "That's your birthday gift to me. How great is that?

"I have a fantasy that one day the whole world at noon on July the seventh, the whole world will go peace and love."

Let's make Ringo's fantasy come true, shall we? He's not asking for much and he's certainly given the world some fantastic music in his lifetime.
