'Real Housewives' Teresa Giudice's bankruptcy garage sale: Will Danielle Staub snag the pool table?
As if being $11 million in debt isn't bad enough, the "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" embattled star Teresa Giudice is now in an even deeper financial hole.And most embarrassing, there's going to be a public auction of her personal stuff -- furniture, a boat, that pool table, etc., etc. -- held at her house next month, which should lead to must-see TV for "Real Housewives" fans.
The trustee on her bankruptcy case claims she and her husband Joe have (shock) hidden personal assets. John Sywilok, whose job is to assess the Giudices' assets and distribute the proceeds to creditors, first claimed the couple didn't list profits from several businesses, including a laundromat, her Fabulicious clothing and accessory company, a pizza parlor and her cookbook, "Skinny Italian."
According to The Wall Street Journal, the Giudices are also accused of undervaluing personal items such as a pool table ($1,000), wedding bands ($400) and living room furniture ($2,000).
But according to People, the Giudice's attrorney, Jim Kridel, says the couple did not hide sources of income. "The contract for Teresa's book was signed after the bankruptcy petition was filed, and all money was received post petition," he says.
As for the pizzeria, it is owned by Joe's father and should not have been considered an asset at the time of the filing.
Kridel also points out that auctioning off the couple's personal property may not help much. "You can't sell used, personal property for the sticker price," he says. "A $5,000 chandelier won't sell for $5,000."
A hearing on the matter has not been scheduled. But there are plans for an Aug 22 auction of the home's furnishing, accessories, tools, even a boat.
Will Danielle Staub be on hand for the embarrassing enhanced garage sale at the Guidices' Towaco, N.J. mansion? Of course she will. Maybe she'll pick up a pool table? Let's hope Bravo will film the auction and that Danielle can stand to lose a few more clumps of hair extensions.

i can't believe the way teresa spends on the show, that she would abuse the bankruptcy court that way. There are hard working americans who really have no choice but to file bankruptcy, that would love to have some cash to pay their bill. I really hope the government take everything she and joe owns. Maybe they'll learn to stop living above their means showing off for cameras.
this lady (Teresa), (and i use the term "lady" very loosely) is the very definition of gross.

Teresa seems to be irresponsible in most areas of life and never owns up to any of it. Maybe the IRS will get to them next. I would like to see what happens to her when she throws tables in a womens prison.
I never liked Danielle but after the nasty chase scene with Teresa and fugly Ashley I find that Im actually on her side...

On Real Housewives of New Jersey, probably one of the only housewives who has any real money is Kim G. Tom Murro, the Celebrity magnet, caught up with Kim G and she dished the dirt on her frenemy, Danielle Staub.
After Tom met Kim G at Starbucks, they zipped around town in her $400k Ferrari, Tom riding shotgun as her boy toy, spun over to her multimillion dollar mansion to dish the gossip.
Kim G revealed the reason why she thinks Danielle Staub is now pitching for the other team is because she is having a hard time getting a guy to date her. Seriously? One funny quote Kim G had, was she claims Danielle Staub wants a chicken dish to be named after her and HATES it when fans don’t recognize her. The problem would anyone WANT to eat the Staub chicken dish? Who wants to get food poisoning?
Kim G is actually much prettier in person and is more down to earth than the other girls. She actually looks really happy in this photo. Kim G claims she even does her own gardening. Kim G is much funnier in interviews, Bravo needs to give her better lines next season.

Will like to see Teresa's take on this and let's see Jacqueline defending her awh yes "business investment" so says to Caroline never told her the trash she was saying to Danielle about her past while running after her. Wonder is she will the same do the same to Danielle "after" the IRS gets a hold of them
I don't understand how they can file and then still have tone of money. That is so wrong they should go to jail. And you know the family help them out.Iam lookingforward when the IRS get me and they go to jail haha
People live beyond their means all the time. I blame banks for allowing someone to go that far into debt without considering the responsibility of carrying so much on paper. Credit card companies now go after college students who don't really have a way to pay and continue to give one person several different cards to run up a high debt. Not only do individuals need to be responsible but so do banks and lending institutions. I don't think these are bad people I just think they got caught up in this material world. I don't think Joe was kidding about the apartment above the pizza parlor and I think his wife should not stick her nose up at it because many people are homeless. Show some humility Teresa and teach your kids some too. Your not a princess, none of us are. Use the pizza parlor to start your own new reality show. Stick an apron on and help your husband for a change.
Chris Manzo is not Ashley's Father. Can anyone tell me who C.J.'s Father is? Is it Chris or Jackie's previous spouse?
I really do not understand why Teresa hates Danielle so much.
she needs to see herself first. She is shameless and classless.
