'Real Housewives NJ's' Jacqueline Laurita on Danielle Staub's lawsuit: 'She's pathetic'
Viewers are probably still spinning from Monday's (July 12) episode of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" when all hell broke loose at a fashion show. We've never seen so much fur fly (and we're not talking about Danielle's Staub's weave) on reality TV since the infamous table-flipping episode. In the end, no one was arrested, but Jacqueline Laurita's daughter, Ashley, did get fined $189 by a court for pulling Danielle's "hair."
Apparently that wasn't enough for the former jailbird. Danielle's lawyer spoke to Hollywood Life and said that they're pursuing a lawsuit against Teresa Giudice, Jacqueline, Ashley, and anyone else involved in the incident.
"We are going to use this footage and prepare a case against these women," Danielle's attorney, Paul Giblin, told the site. "We are seeking assault and battery charges, defamation of character and punitive damages as well."
The attorney also said they'll be asking a judge for restraining orders against the women. Zap2it spoke to Jacqueline about the legal threat.
"You can't defame someone who defames herself," Jacqueline told us. "I have not told any lies about her. I never physically touched her or threatened her, so I am not worried."
Jacqueline feels that this is just Danielle being a media whore. "She will do anything, and I mean anything, to stay in the press," she says. "I think she's pathetic and desperate. Maybe she has a fear that she won't be asked to return next year so she's grasping at straws to keep a connection between us. I don't know."
Well, we think it will be pretty hard for Danielle to shoot the show next season if half the cast has restraining orders against them. She might want to rethink that one.

Viewers could see this coming a mile off.I'm hooked on the show but am a little bit worried as to why Bravo would give so much air time to a person that obviously needs professional help.
I hope Danielle saw how much her ''energist'' thought of her during last nights episode and the good old British saying ''money for old rope'' certainly came into play last night for sure.
On the other hand - the scene where Jacqueline is playing the game on her mobile phone while Danielles energist is trying to ''heal'' her was pure comedy gold.
Danielle is two tacos short of a combination plate but that didn't give Teresa a reason to wait outside the bathroom so she could bully her. Teresa was primed for confrontation. Jacqueline's daughter needs her *** kicked! They all were guilty of bullying and assault.
As much as I don't care for Danielle, I hope she sues the hell out of Ashley. Ashley is a big girl! Too bad she thinks being a wanna be thug is cool. Jacqueline is a poor excuse for a mother.
I love Teresa & Jacqueline and I know that Danielle needs serious mental help.....she really scares me and I worry that she will physically hurt or have one of her ex-con buddies hurt Teresa, Jacqueline, or Caroline and/or their families. Jacqueline has never looked good by any means, but she looks even worse this season, and I cannot stand to hear her talk. One the other hand, I do believe that Teresa provoked Danielle the night of the fashion show and I think that if Jacqueline would be really honest, she thinks so too. It was very clear that Jacqueline wanted Teresa to stop speaking with Danielle, but she wouldn't. If I were the girls, I would just totally ignore Danielle. As Caroline said Monday night, Danielle got exactly what she wanted from them. She got a reaction and made everyone think that Teresa & Jacqueline were out to get her. It just wasn't a very wise move on Teresa's part.
or as Danielle would say "I am getting a retraining order against those WOMAN!" because she doesn't know the difference between woman(1) and women(several).It also seems that she gets very upset when it is brought up to her like on WWHL and even on her twitter. Someone asked her why does she say Woman instead of Women and she replied y do you care.Danielle maybe she cares because 75% of everything you say ends with the phrase "those woman" and after ten f*****G it gets annoying. I know my grammer is horrible and i am not the best writer but at least i know the difference when it comes to something that simple and do not get offended when someone is trying to make me look like less of an idiotic ignorant B!
i hope Danielle kicks the **** outta Ashley. the girl is a brat and she is spoiled to the hilt. Danielle obviously loves the attention but Teresa and Jaqueline don't realize that Danielle eats it up when they talk about her. Ashley is a punk and needs to stay out of her mother's drama. She's the most immature 19 year old I've ever seen.
They need to replace the entire current cast. I will not watch next year if the Manzos, Laurita, Guidices or anyone else involved (with the exception of Danielle) are still on the show. What happened was deplorable and Bravo and those nutcases should be ashamed.
I think it should be "restraining order against the WOMAN" and not women. I mean Danielle is constantly getting it wrong because she obviously does not know the difference between woman (1) and women (several). It’s obvious that when you bring it up to her she does not like it like on WWHL and even twitter. Someone tweeted her asking why does she say woman when she means women and she responded by saying y do you care? Well Danielle maybe it is because 75% of what you say on RHONJ end with "those woman" and after 10 F*****G episodes it is getting annoying. Once or twice I understand but it is every time and even when it comes to your blog you misspell it. I admit my grammar is bad but I know the difference between something as simple as Woman and Women it doesn’t take a college student to figure it out or even a convict! Unlike Danielle when I am told it is wrong I correct it and don’t care. I hope Danielle learns how to take constructive criticism and stops being an ignorant idiotic B***h!
Why do people keep saying that Jac is a bad mother when Dirty D made a sex tape in the home where her children live?!?!
I feel really sorry for all these losers...Jacqueline and the one with the uni-brow keep talking so much crap about Danielle, but they're not any better. Jacqueline should be worried about her baby boy and why she can't control her disrespectful brat daughter. Oh yeah...and the one with the uni-brow should be more worried about her children and take an etiquette/speech class. Last but not least...Danielle as we know is a hot mess and she should really focus on getting some therapy because she is coo-koo! They think that just because they wear a certain name brand or buy an expensive item makes them classy, however, they are so wrong and this show is proof of this.
