'Real Housewives' Dina Manzo says Danielle Staub tried to have daughter taken from her
The New York Daily News reports that Dina says Danielle tried to have her daughter taken away. We wonder if that was the big secret during the first reunion show that Caroline Manzo said she'd never forgive Danielle for.
Apparently during filming of the first season in 2008, Dina and her ex-husband authorized then 12-year-old Lexi to be filmed for the Bravo show. After Lexi's father watched some of the crazy that was going down when Season 1 aired, he no longer wanted their daughter to take part. And Dina claims that's when Danielle slithered in.
"She told my ex's family that I'd actually forged his signature on the contracts, which I did not," Dina says. "She knew she could work on his emotions, so she supplied him with every phone number of everybody he'd need to follow through with a lawsuit - contacts at Bravo, our production crew and her attorneys."
Dina's ex apparently saw through Danielle's drama and never filed the lawsuit. Regardless, the former housewife says Danielle never stopped spreading lies about her and it culminated in the aired meeting that led to Dina leaving the show.
The former housewife claims that Danielle is currently spreading rumors that her ex is suing her, Bravo fired her over the alleged lawsuit and that she's on the outs with her current husband, Tommy. All of which Dina denies saying, "Things are better than ever [with Tommy]."
After Danielle's track record, we're leaning toward believing Dina. What about you?

I knew she was up to somehting. Danielle always is. Leave the children alone. If anyone should have their children taken away it should be Danielle. She IS CRAZY. Her children seem to be well behaved, smart young women. But, you never knows what goes on behind the scenes. Danielle is also stealing from her children. I call it that. She now has money? Yeah righ. She said she is their manager. I knew she would do that.She gets money, but doesn't have to work. I'm to pretty. Pretty ugly. Where is their Dad? He won't pay his child support on time. So,I bet he is the lesser of two evils. I'm w/anyone who can get Danielle off the show. She is DANGEROUS. Just sayn.
Pls don't call Danielle a pig-that would be an insult to the sows of the world. WOW--to use a child to attack someone is amoral. Danielle, Wayne NJ's hubby-stealer, is so pathetic and needy for attention. Unfortunately, she gets it doing porn and tearing down others, though this is probably drug induced.

Dina left the show, didn't she? I'm sure Danielle did have contact with her ex but I do think Dina left because she knew her ex would get custody. Someone had to sign those papers so who did? Obviously Lexi's father didn't.
I think they're all liars but I do think Dina left in an agreement with her ex so she wouldn't lose custody. Actually, a judge watching the show with the kids in the middle of the action should remove them all. It isn't healthy for any of them.
