Emmy nominee Matthew Fox is done with TV. How about a 'Lost' movie?

"
Lost
" star
Matthew Fox
has definitely left the island. Including the Hawaiian island of Oahu where his show shot for the past six years. He's now settled and living happily in Oregon -- far, far from the ocean -- with his wife and kids.
Fox told the
Dish Rag
-- we were on the carpet with a KTLA camera crew at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association's annual Installation luncheon Wednesday (July 28) -- that there are no TV shows in his immediate future.
Between six years of "Lost" and six years of "Party of Five," enough's apparently enough.
"And I don't say that in any terms of being a snob," Fox explains. "I have just done 300 hours of television... Now it's more about calling my shots, when I'm working and when I'm not. "
He was in good company --
Annette Bening, Nicole Kidman,
"Glee"
star Jane Lynch,
"Desperate Housewives" star
Eva Longoria,
Emmy nominees
"Breaking Bad" star
Bryn Cranston
and "Big Bang Theory"
Jim Parsons
-- at the Four Seasons for the event that gifted $154,000 to various charities, including the UCLA School of Film and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
Fox, who was only in LA for a day, was honored to accept a check from HFPA on behalf of few charities. And while he's also honored by his Best Lead Actor Emmy nomination, he will be happier if the show wins in Best Drama.
We're looking forward to his big screen appearances. But we're gonna miss you on TV, Jack Shephard. Here's hoping there will be a "Lost" movie sooner rather than later because we still have quite a few answered questions.
