Liza Minnelli on Home Shopping Network? Priceless
Liza Minnelli made a one time appearance on the Home Shopping Network, hawking her Liza Minnelli Collection of flowing velvet and sequined separates and bold jewelry.
She talks -- repeatedly -- about her recent knee surgery during the two hour appearance. She explains that she had nothing to do, so she sat around and started thinking about "everything," including fashion and molding clay.
Liza's #1 fashion tip seems to be "The woman should wear the sequins, not the sequins wear the woman." Okay, we changed it a bit.
Our favorite moment is when the hostess asks Liza, "How many bracelets can you put together?", clearly meant to spur sales of multiple bracelets, and Liza replies, "Just ONE is enough."
There's really not a whole lot we can politely say after watching this highlights reel from FourFour of Liza's two-hour long HSN appearance. But you know, there are so many women shopping drunk on HSN, why not selling?
It's just a real shame Liza's team and the "Celebrity Rehab" folks couldn't have worked out a way to get her on Dr. Drew's show.
He really would have had his work cut out for him, wouldn't you say?

loved it when they showed Liza's "L" shaped jewelry and she says "what's that?" and the host had to explain it to her. classic tv!!!!
