Larry King's postponed divorce now officially off

On the heels of announcing his departure from "Larry King Live" last week, it looks like the CNN host will spend his upcoming free time working on his marriage to Shawn Southwick-King. Both filed petitions to dismiss their divorce papers Wednesday (July 7), according to a report from TMZ.

This hardly comes as much of a surprise. Within a week of filing their respective papers on April 14, the couple put the brakes on the proceedings.

The two have spent the time since then attending counseling, canoodling for cameras and trying their best to overlook allegations that King slept with his wife's doppelgänger sister, Shannon Engemann.

Maybe Shawn finally conceded to the leather-loving septuagenarian's Coor's Light Twins fantasy. Or Maybe Larry's just tired. After all, it's been a big year. And after six previous marriages, sticking it out with No. 7 seems to be the easiest option for the 76-year-old. Good luck, kids!
