Katy Perry launches Purr, her first fragrance. Sweet!

katy-perry-naked-teenage-dream.jpgKaty Perry revealed the cover of her sweet second album, "Teenage Dream," this week. And coincidentally, she's also announcing her brand new fragrance called Purr.

On the album cover (due out next month), reminiscent of a scene from the "California Gurls" video, she rests nude -- in demure but naughty pin-up style -- floating on a cloud of pink cotton candy.

And it sounds like her new scent will be just as delish. The Purr bottle is kitty cat-shaped with jeweled eyes and metallic accents and the perfume will be available ($36-65) in Nordstrom stores and at nordstrom.com this fall.

Katy admits that the hardest part was keeping the scent a secret for a whole year during development. "I kept wanting to tell someone!" she tells WWD.

"It wasn't just like, 'I love gardenias.' That would have been the easy route," Perry says. "I really wanted to develop a scent that was completely unlike anything I'd smelled before and not one that smelled like a knockoff of another scent."

Purr has top notes of peach, apple and green bamboo, jasmine blossom, freesia, rose, vanilla, orchid, white amber, sandalwood and musk.

Yum. We're getting a sugar rush just thinking about it.
