Justin Bieber up for Bowling Hall of Fame?! Vote!

Justin Bieber. Singer. Teen idol. Bowler?

That's right. If his rabid fans have any pull whatsoever, it's very possible that Bieber could be inducted into the International Bowling Museum and Hall of Fame.

The Bowling Proprietors' Association of America (BPAA) has listed Bieber among nine celebrity nominees to be considered for their highest honor. It's all part of the revitalization of bowling as a sport in pop culture.

Bieber actually does have some bowling chops. He schooled "America's Got Talent" host Nick Cannon in a bowling showdown for the release party of his "My World 2.0" album in March.

Can't you just imagine The Biebs pulling on a fingerless glove, sporting a pair of hot two-tone shoes and letting the breeze ruffle his bangs as he glides along the slick floors and into bowling history?

Fans who have such Bieber fever dreams can vote for him at GoBowling.com. The celebrity with the most votes wins. It's the first time that the BPAA has opened up the induction process to a public vote.

Bieber has some tough competition though, namely with "Big Lebowski" fans who want The Dude himself, Jeff Bridges, to be the celebrity inductee. Also nominated are Bill Murray ("Kingpin" fame), Jimmy Fallon, Taylor Swift, NBA all-star point guard Chris Paul, NBA all-star center Dwight Howard, "NCIS" star Pauley Perrette and Bieber's fro-yo date Kim Kardashian.

Fans can vote as often as they like, and the voting window is open from July 12-Aug. 7. As an added bonus, just for voting, fans can download a coupon for a free bowling game on World Record Day, Aug. 7.
