Christina Milian, The-Dream separate. And he's already got a girlfriend?

Barely married a year, Christina Milian and The-Dream have split.

Coincidentally, the same day this break-up news hits the Web, cuddly photos of Terius "The-Dream" Nash with his assistant Melissa Santiago frolicking in the Caribbean also pop up.

Did we mention that she's been his assistant -- also coincidentally -- for a year? 

"Terius 'The-Dream' Nash is saddened to announce that his marriage to Christina Milian was unsuccessful. The couple reached this decision in late 2009, but decided to keep the news private in efforts to protect their baby daughter Violet. They ask for consideration and respect for their family moving forward," his rep tells Us Weekly.

The producer/singer  (his third album, "Love King," was just released), 32, proposed to Milian, 28, in July 2009.

The couple eloped to Las Vegas that same month and later said "I Do" a second time in Rome in December of 2009.
