Carrie Prejean gets an opposite marriage to Kyle Boller

Former beauty queen Carrie Prejean, who was famously taken to task for her comments regarding marriage equality, may have lost her crown, but she got herself one of those "opposite marriages" she holds so sacred. On Friday, July 2, Prejean wed Oakland Raiders quarterback Kyle Boller in San Diego, according to E!.


When asked her thoughts on marriage equality at the 2009 Miss USA pageant, Prejean - then Miss California - had the following to say. "I think it's great that American are able to choose one or the other, um, we live in a land that you can choose same sex marriage or opposite marriage, and you know what? In my country and in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there but that's how I was raised and that's how I think that it should be between a man and a woman."

Hopefully her marriage vows made a little more sense than that.

The Miss USA pageant eventually fired Prejean as Miss California because she failed to keep up her required schedule. Later, Prejean's image took another hit when her eight solo sex tapes and several nude photos surfaced.

Prejean and Boller said their "I do's" at the Grand Del Mar Hotel with friends and family. Later, they had cocktails on the lawn before the newlyweds drove off in a white Rolls Royce Phantom. Prejean wore a one-shoulder mermaid-style dress, and Boller and his groomsmen wore black tuxedos.

Congratulations to the... oh, who are we kidding?
