Which popular TV actress refused to tape video encouragement message for AIDS Ride?

As readers know, it's a pretty tough task to render The Dish Rag speechless or make our jaw drop. But over the weekend, a friend of ours did just that. Thankfully, it was only for a hot minute and now we're ready to blab all over the blogosphere. But in order to protect the innocent, we can only report this as a blind item.

The annual AIDS/LifeCycle ride culminated in Los Angeles Saturday (June 12), which benefits research for a cure for the disease. This year it raised $10 million for the cause.

A reliable source tells The Dish Rag that celebrity soundbites were compiled for a video reel encouraging participants who undertook the grueling seven-day bike ride.

The stage and TV actress, who stars in an uber-popular genre series with an exuberant fan base, was asked to participate while she was on set for a shoot. When the diva actress was asked if she would mind looking to camera to tape a message for the California AIDS Ride celebrity encouragement reel she refused to do it and didn't give a reason why!

In fact, she was the ONLY ONE from her show's talented young cast who couldn't find 30 seconds to say something to the more than 2,000 people who gave seven days of their lives to the good cause.

This actress has been accused of some diva antics in the past and this clearly closes the case for us.
