Valerie Bertinelli has actually felt 'Hot in Cleveland'

Valerie Bertinelli feels like she's back home being on the TV set of her new series, "Hot in Cleveland."

She was just a teenager when she starred on "One Day at a Time," with Mackenzie Phillips and Bonnie Franklin. The successful series ran from 1975 to 1984.

She's loving working with Wendy Malick and Jane Leeves, whom she's known for many years. And she's thrilled to have the legendary Betty White on the show, playing the cranky caretaker of the three women's apartment in Cleveland.

She tells The Dish Rag that the new sitcom is not terribly demanding as the ladies only work from 10-3 every day and the time they are together doesn't even feel like work.

Watch the video for Valerie's take on the series, the show's love interests, her new paperback, her success with Jenny Craig and actually feeling '"hot" in Cleveland in real life.

Can we just say we hope Mackenzie will make a guest appearance?

They didn't use a Plain Dealer in the show. It looked like a Wall Street Journal. Drew Carey Show always used The Plain Dealer. Also, why did the second showing at 10:30 leave out some great comments (reference to closing the curtain on the plane and the butt model comment by Jane L's character were great ones). I ended up not watching the rest of the second showing because of this.
