'Twilight's' Robert Pattinson is a real-life vampire! Or he's distantly related to Vlad the Impaler.

Genealogists from Ancestry.com have discovered that Robert Pattinson is distantly related to Transylvania leader Vlad the Impaler (aka "Dracula"), according to the Associated Press.Vlad is widely recognized as the inspiration for the titular character in Bram Stoker's famous gothic novel. Apparently R-Patz and Vlad are connected through their relationship to the British royal family -- Robert is a distant cousin to Prince William and Prince Harry; Vlad was a distant uncle to the princes.
Apparently "Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer is also distantly related to the Dracula via the same connection. Excellent. And don't think "Twilight" stands alone in this -- Emma Watson of the "Harry Potter" series is related to a real witch.
The latest installment of Pattinson's "fake" (wink wink) portrayal of a vampire, "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," opens nationwide on June 30.
So ... who wants R-Patz to suck their blood?

As Vlad was not a vampire (Dracula is a FICTIONAL BOOK), no Robert is not related to a vampire.
